Dear Trimmer Families and Community Members,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! It is with great excitement that I welcome you to another awesome year at Norman A. Trimmer Elementary School, home to our vibrant 4th and 5th-grade learners. We are eager to begin a new chapter filled with opportunities to help each student grow both academically and social-emotionally.

At the heart of our work is a strong belief that students thrive when schools and families work together. As principal, I am committed to building a positive and collaborative partnership with you, our parents, guardians, and community members. Your support, involvement, and communication are key to helping your child succeed, and we look forward to working hand-in-hand with you throughout the year.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are ready to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child can reach their full potential. We will focus not only on academic achievement, but also on developing character, responsibility, and a sense of belonging for all students.

Meet Dr. Minacci

Dr. Matthew Minacci joined West York Area School District in 2002 as a Middle School Teacher and held the position of Middle School Assistant Principal prior to taking the helm as the Principal of Trimmer Elementary School in 2020. Dr. Minacci holds a Doctoral Degree in Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, both from Immaculata University, and a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies from West Chester University.
